Two of our awesome volunteers decided to come in and learn about the back of the house operations. Alyssa is starting her journey into homebrewing and wanted to see the 3BBL in action. Jason, a long time patron and one of the newer members of our volunteer staff, decided to join as well. Today we are brewing an El Dorado IPA. New hop for us at Wabash Brewing. Were going to name this one the Mounds IPA, because I'm pretty sure there is a lost city of gold underneath them!
Had the opportunity to sit down with Richard Paige at Wabash College for his podcast - Wabash on My Mind. Was a great conversation to celebrate being open for six years. Interested in how we have managed through COVID, or how we approach business then have a listen. Link is below:
https://bit.ly/3qNqjdS Cheers, Matt Brewing a Hefeweizen today with Dave and Doug! Kriech family tradition. Were working on building a lager chamber while enjoying the fruits of our earlier work. Its an Imperial Oatmeal Stout! We plan to release it on Statewide Stout Day. Saturday February 20th. Come in and enjoy! We promise its worth braving the snow and cold for.
You have to celebrate when you get an awesome new neighbor. Manny (a fellow Pike Grad - Go Red Devils) opened up a new business next door. To celebrate we brewed him a lighter beer that was easy drinking, super refreshing and a great entry to the world of craft beer. We utilize corn in the mash as well as lime zest during secondary fermentation. Come in to Manny's to get a remote starter, radio, or alarm installed in your car and while waiting enjoy a beer at Wabash Brewing. Cheers!
